The Nicene Creed

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
He came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, He suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and His kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

قانون الإيمان

نؤمن بإله واحد، آب ضابط الكل، خالق السماء والأرض، كل ما يرى وما لا يرى.

وبرب واحد يسوع المسيح، ابن الله الوحيد، المولود من الآب قبل كل الدهور، إله من إله، نور من نور، إله حق من إله حق،  مولود غير مخلوق، مساوٍ للآب في الجوهر، الذي به كان كل شيء، الذي من أجلنا نحن البشر ومن أجل خلاصنا نزل من السماء وتجسد بالروح القدس من مريم العذراء، وصار إنساناً وصلب عنا على عهد بيلاطس البنطي، تألـم ومات وقُبر، وقام في اليوم الثالث كما جاء في الكتب، وصعد إلى السماء وجلس عن يمين الله الآب أيضاً يأتي بمجدٍ عظيم ليدين الأحياء والأموات الذي لا فناء لملكه.

ونؤمن بالروح القدس، الرب المحيي، المنبثق من الآب والابن، الذي هو مع الآب والابن يُسجد له ويُمجد، الناطق بالأنبياء والرسل.

وبكنيسة واحدة جامعة مقدّسة رسولية، ونعترف بمعمودية واحدة لمغفرة الخطايا، ونترجى قيامة الموتى والحياة الجديدة في الدهر الآتي. آمين.

The Our Father

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

صلاة الأبانا

أبانا الذي في السماوات، ليتقدّس اسمك، ليأتي ملكوتك، لتكن مشيئتك كما في السماء كذلك على الأرض، أعطنا خبزنا كفاف يومنا، واغفر لنا ذنوبنا وخطايانا كما نحن نغفر لمن أخطأ إلينا، ولا تدخلنا في التجارب، لكن نجّنا من الشرير، لأن لك الملك والقوة والمجد الى أبد الآبدين، آمين.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death

السلام عليك يا مريم، يا ممتلئة نعمة، الرب معك، مباركة أنت في النساء ومباركة ثمرة بطنك سيّدنا يسوع المسيح، يا قديسة مريم، يا والدة الله، صلي لأجلنا نحن الخطأة، الآن وفي ساعة موتنا، آمين

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Breathe into me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy. Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy.

صلاة للروح القدس

هلمّ أيها الروح القدس، وأرسل من السماء شعاع نورك. هلمّ يا أبا المساكين، هلمّ يا معطي المواهب، هلمّ يا ضياء القلوب، أيها المعزّي الجليل، يا ساكن القلوب العذب، أيتها الاستراحة اللذيذة، أنت في التعب راحة، وفي الحر اعتدال، وفي البكاء تعزية، أيها النور الطوباوي، إملأ باطن قلوب مؤمنيك، لأنه بدون قدرتك لا شيء في الإنسان ولا شيء طاهر، طهّر ما كان دنساً، إسق ما كان يابساً، إشف ما كان معلولاً، ليّن ما كان صلباً، أضرم ما كان بارداً، دبّر ما كان حائداً، أعطِ مؤمنيك المتّكلين عليك المواهب السبع، إمنحهم ثواب الفضيلة، هب لهم غاية الخلاص، أعطهم السرور الأبدي. آمين.

Act of Contrition

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.

فعل الندامة

يا ربي وإلهي، أنا نادم من كل قلبي على جميع خطاياي لأني بالخطيئة خسرت نفسي والخيرات الأبدية، واستحققت العذابات الجهنمية، وبالأكثر أنا نادم لأني أغظتك وأهنتك أنت يا ربي وإلهي المستحق كل كرامة ومحبة، ولهذا السبب أبغض الخطيئة فوق كل شر، وأريد بنعمتك أن أموت قبل أن أغيظك فيما بعد، وأقصد أن أهرب من كل سبب خطيئة وأن أفي بقدر استطاعتي عن الخطايا التي فعلتها. آمين.

Grace before and after meals

Before: Bless us, O Lord! and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
After: We give Thee thanks for all Thy benefits, O Almighty God, who livest and reignest world without end. Amen. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

نعمة قبل وبعد وجبات الطعام

قبل: باركنا يا رب! وهذه عطاياك التي نحن على وشك أن ننالها من فضلك من خلال المسيح ربنا.
آمين.
بعد: نشكرك على جميع نعمك، أيها الإله القدير، الذي يحيا ويملك العالم إلى الأبد. آمين. فلترقد أرواح المؤمنين الراحلين برحمة الله بسلام. آمين.

St Maron prayer

O Saint Maron,

Honor of hermits and monks role model, Defender of the true faith and pastor on the path of salvation, we beseech you to grant us grace to persevere in our faith, zeal to proclaim it, while striving for the salvation of souls and remaining steadfast in Hope until the last breath.

Thus, we live our identity as children of God, ardent in good deeds that please Him. Through your intercession, we hope to contemplate His heavenly face, and with you, render Him glory, forever. Amen

أيها القديس مارون

تكريم النساك والرهبان القدوة ، المدافع عن الإيمان الحقيقي والراعي على طريق الخلاص ، نتوسل إليكم أن تمنحونا نعمة المثابرة في إيماننا ، والغيرة لإعلانها ، بينما نسعى جاهدين لخلاص النفوس ونبقى ثابتين في الرجاء حتى النفس الأخير.

وهكذا ، نعيش هويتنا كأبناء الله ، متحمسين للأعمال الصالحة التي ترضيه. من خلال شفاعتك ، نأمل أن نتأمل في وجهه السماوي ، ومعك ، نمجده إلى الأبد. آمين
